Key takeaways The discussion confirmed the need to further refine the ws7 proposal, taking into account the overall framing and expectations outlined in the EuroDIGWiki description. In particular, participants stressed the importance of ensuring strong coherence and complementarity between the main topic 1 and the ws 7 , so as to create a clear and consistent narrative across both. There was broad agreement on the importance of actively involving National and Regional Initiatives (NRIs), in order to better reflect their perspectives and experiences, while also ensuring the participation of a wider range of stakeholders from across the multistakeholder community. Participants also highlighted the need to further reflect on the focus and angles to be emphasized in both the workshop title and description, as well as the added value of incorporating youth perspectives into the discussion. From an organizational perspective, it was noted that, given the limited time available, the session will need to remain focused and well-structured. In this regard, identifying a limited number of targeted speakers and including concrete, replicable examples were considered particularly important to guide and enrich the discussion.
Next steps
- Titti will liaise with Sandra to clarify the expected format of the workshop, including the number of speakers and overall structure, as well as whether the session could take the form of an NRI Assembly
- Titti will reach out to Anja Gengo to explore how best to involve the NRIs network
- All group members are kindly invited to review and further refine the draft proposal, including by suggesting potential speakers and concrete examples
- Further consideration will be given to identifying a rapporteur for the session
- Participants are encouraged to engage their respective networks (NRIs, technical community, youth and other stakeholders) to support outreach and participation
