This main session as well as WS 7 will develop messages relating to the UN WSIS+20 Review. The Main Session provides the opportunity for European stakeholders to discuss in general terms the outcomes of the Review and the conduct of the process. In the workshop we will focus on the role of the national and regional IGFs in the implementation phase of the Review outcomes. Finally, stakeholders are invited to make proposals for specific actions by EuroDIG in support of the implementation phase.

Sessions are organised in a multi-stakeholder bottom up manner. Anyone interested in the topic can become a member of the Org Team. The EuroDIG session principles must be followed.

Session teaser

This main session as well as WS 7 will develop messages relating to the UN WSIS+20 Review. Messages

The Programme Committee is responsible for taking notes during the session and to formulate 3 (max. 5) bullet points that are presented at the end of each session. The audience shall agree on the messages in (rough) consensus.

Messages should:

  • reflect the discussion in the particular session
  • relate to European Internet governance policy
  • be forward looking and propose goals and activities
